2 How to guide the appliance
• Always stretch your skin when
epilating.
• Always make sure that the epilation
area is in close contact with your skin.
• The pivoting head automatically adapts
to the contours of your skin.
• Guide the appliance in a slow, con-
tinuous movement without pressure
against the hair growth, in the direction
of the switch. As hair can grow in
different directions, it may also be
helpful to guide the appliance in
different directions to achieve optimal
results. The pulsating movements of
the massaging rollers stimulate and
relax the skin for a gentler epilation.
• If you are used to the sensation of
epilation and prefer a faster way of
removing hair, attach the efficiency
cap (1b) replacing the massaging
rollers (1a).
3 Leg epilation
Epilate your legs from the lower leg in
an upward direction. When epilating
behind the knee, keep the leg
stretched out straight.
4 Underarm and bikini line epilation
Please be aware that especially at the
beginning, these areas are particularly
sensitive to pain. Therefore, we
recommend that you start with switch
setting I. With repeated usage the pain
sensation will diminish.
Before epilating, thoroughly clean the
respective area to remove residues
(like deodorant). Then carefully dab
dry with a towel. When epilating the
underarm, keep your arm raised up so
that the skin is stretched and guide the
appliance in different directions. As
skin may be more sensitive directly
after epilation, avoid using irritating
substances such as deodorants with
alcohol.

5 Cleaning the epilation head
Before cleaning, unplug the appliance.
Regular cleaning ensures better
performance.
a Brush cleaning:
Remove the cap and brush it out.
Thoroughly clean the tweezers from
the rear side of the epilator head with
the brush dipped into alcohol. While
doing so, turn the tweezer element
manually. This cleaning method
ensures best hygienic conditions for
the epilation head.
b Cleaning under running water:
Remove the cap. Hold the appliance
with the epilation head under running
water.
Then press the release button (5) to
remove the epilation head (2).
Thoroughly shake both, the epilation
head and the appliance to make sure
that remaining water can drip out.
Leave both parts to dry. Before
reattaching, make sure that they are
completely dry.

Среди средств по удалению излишней растительности на теле я выбираю те, которые будут меня устраивать по трем параметрам: функциональность, цена и время, потраченное на процедуру.
Поэтому моим спутником в повседневной жизни на протяжении ряда является эпилятор Brjun Silk-epil 5.
Без него не обхожусь ни в отпуске, ни в длительной командировке. Он компактно упаковывается в мешочек и ждет себе в сумке того момента, когда мне понадобится его помощь.
Незаменим электроэпилятор в ситуациях, когда пожалеешь «себя-любимую», вовремя не сделаешь эти «веселенькие волосикощипательные процедуры», а тут надо срочно где-то появиться. Без гладких ручек- ножек идти никак нельзя, а времени на фундаментальную подготовку (посещение салона, шугаринг и пр.) уже нет. Вот тут я и открываю заветный мешочек.
Эпилятор Silk-epil 5 модели 5340 используется, что называется «на сухую» — т.е. работает по сухому телу и в сухом помещении. Совмещать его применение, например, с приемом ванны, нельзя. Кроме того, что током шарахнуть может (он питается от сети 220 в), еще и пинцетики не будут влажные волосинки захватывать. А вообще основная бреющая головка очень практичная – одновременно с удалением волосков слегка массирует тело и стушевывает неприятные ощущения. Насадка легко очищается щеточкой (она входит в комплект) и промывается водой.
Пользуясь этим эпилятором, я поняла такую вещь. Если нежелательной растительности не давать вырасти до 1 мм и более, то неприятных ощущений от процедуры можно избежать. Больно тогда, когда волосинки длинные, и прибор их перед тем как удалит, тянет. А коротенькие сразу выдергивает. И еще скорость надо «под себя» подобрать (у моей модели Брауна предусмотрено два режима).
Нравится мне то, что у прибора есть точечная подсветка, которая помогает не пропустить остаточные мелкие волосики.
В руке эпилятор лежит удобно, так как форма его «тела» обтекаемая, вполне эргономичная. Шнур достаточно длинный, можно расположиться в удобном месте, а не «упираться носом» в розетку. И время я трачу немного- на одну ногу минут 5, не больше, уходит.
После такой процедуры мои руки и ноги в порядке до 2-х недель. А вот для чувствительных зон Silk-epil 5 я не применяю. Неоднократно пыталась, но в результате отложила дополнительные насадки вместе с охлаждающей перчаткой. Не пошло, как говорится. Довольно болезненно, да и охлаждение нужного эффекта не дает.
Еще из недостатков- жужжит резковато. Может на более низкой скорости звук и помягче, только я ей не пользуюсь. Но это мелочи. Потому что Brоun Silk-epil 5 выполняет свое основное предназначение — обеспечивать хорошую чистоту эпиляции и быть всегда у меня по рукой.
